Slava Ilachinski Exhibit in Taganrog

After several years worth of planning, negotiations, more planning, and many more negotiations, I am so happy to announce that in June 2006, the Taganrog Museum will be opening an exhibit of 35 of my dear husband's artworks!

Slava Ilachinski (1925-2002) was born in Taganrog, Russia but left when still a small child. It was his dying wish to bequeath his hometown (the birthplace of Anton Chekov) at least a few of his works. I am thrilled that his last wish has come to fruition; although the Tagarnrog museum will be getting, and putting on permanent exhibit, many more works than my beloved husband ever dreamed was possible.
